AUT Sends Students to Japan

Have you ever dreamed about a free (all expenses paid) trip to Japan and experience the fascinating culture and meet university students? Well now’s the chance. Every year the Technos International College invites four AUT students and one staff member to their campus in June. Students currently studying a Bachelor level degree programme in any discipline at AUT University can apply to take part in the Technos International Week and associated activities in Japan between 1-15 June.

AUT Students, cheaters?

One third of all students caught cheating or plagiarising in 2007 came from AUT, a recently released statistic has revealed, but Business School Dean Des Graydon says the statistics do not truly reflect the actual numbers.  According to the report, there were 499 cases of cheating and plagiarising recorded from New Zealand universities last year, and 269 of them came from AUT, with the majority (228) in the Business School.
