This
year we will be running our elections online which means you can vote
from your PC. We are using the online election service BigPulse.com.
BigPulse has run many student elections in Australia and the USA. You
will be assigned a voting account with sign-in name and password. On
25 August 2008
you
will receive an email to your AUT student email address. This
email will provide you with an auto sign-in link to the online
ballot. The system prevents informal votes. As soon as you submit
your vote a vote confirmation with a randomly generated unique
receipt number will be displayed in your browser and also sent to
your email address. To protect the anonymity of your vote it's
important not to disclose this receipt number because all vote
receipts will be posted in a vote verification web page soon after
voting closes. Cast
