Pop n Good

As I write this Camp Rock has not yet aired. But by the time you read this (if anyone reads this...) I will have seen Camp Rock. And it will have been amazing. It was a difficult and often regretted decision not to download it before it aired on Disney Channel. I'm not quite sure how both P'n'G columnists managed to avoid seeing it - after all, we are prone to squealing with delight at the mere mention of the name 'Joe', let alone the double excitement of 'Joe Jonas'.

And so should you should be too.

1. Wall-E - Out on 18th September, this animated film, about a lonely robot left to clean up earth is HUGE. You'd basically have to be devoid of a soul to hate this film. It is #26 on the IMDB top 250- that's better than Citizen Kane. It has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It has robots in love. What more could you want?

More specifically, I cry myself to sleep thinking of how much better their Comic Book/Pop Culture conventions are.

You see, America has San Diego. And in July of every year San Diego has the Comic-Con Convention. And the Comic-Con convention has everything. The following list is 6 things Comic-Con has that rock hard, and make me wish for a green-card marriage.

PnG’s 6 Biggest News Stories from the Holidays

6)     Apparently pets are banned from the Vatican. I guess the Pope is too busy being mighty and super important to feed Mrs Mittens her Friskies. But Pope Benedict XVI is a bit of a rebel, and he apparently keeps a cat or two. On his recent trip to Australia, a grey feline by the name of Bella was reportedly smuggled into his quarters to help him pass the hours. He don’t just break the laws - he throws them against the wall, sets fire to them and jumps on the remains in combat boots! WHOA!
