This Thursday 10 April 2008 marks a significant day in history for the students of New Zealand: student debt will officially hit $10 billion dollars!!! Kia Ora everyone

Last week marked the end of an era for many of our AUT students. Last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were the annual AUT University Autumn Graduation Ceremonies in which over 3000 recent AUT graduands took to the stage at the Auckland Town Hall to receive their official certificates, diplomas, degrees, masters and PhD qualifications. I myself finally graduated from the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management conjoint Bachelor of Business Degree after 4 years of hard work. I can tell you now that it is definitely all worth it in the end. Studies may feel very daunting at the beginning but I assure you with enough hard work, perseverance and support from the great team here at AUT you will prevail. I hope everyone who did graduate last week had a great time and had a wonderful after party. Congratulations to you all!
