These things are freaking amazing, I'm addicted. The powder comes in a box, you add one egg and some butter, whack ‘em on a tray, wait 15 minutes and viola! The best bloody semi-homemade cookies you've ever had. Especially good on a cold stormy night (which we've had plenty of lately).

You've probably heard everyone say it by now. "EPIC FAIL!" for even the smallest of mistakes. Fail is the opposite of success. It seems the Fail phenomenon has truly settled in, and this website highlights some of the best fails in the world. Whether it be the shipping tanker that didn't quite make it to dock, or the sign that inadvertently advertised LSD to children, take a gander at these (mostly) real world fails.

2008 Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
No matter what your opinion on this particularly controversial Olympic Games, there is one thing everyone can be sure about: the opening ceremony will be a sight to see. Look forward to amazing costumes, unbelievable special effects and stunts and performances and displays that will be remembered for years to come. Remember when they filled the stadium with water and danced around in it at Athens in 2004? Or that huge fireworks display off the top of Stadium Australia at Sydney in 2000? Prepare to add to that list of incredible performances.

International Hobo Week
Apparently this week is International Hobo Week. So I encourage all of you to take a little time out from your busy days to think about the hobos that inhabit the benches at Albert Park, or the ones on the steps of the old St James Theatre. Maybe consider flicking them some money or a little bit more of that old falafel than you usually do.
