| Torture | Torture: Can we justify it? Some of you may be aware of the philosophical question that asks if you had a time machine and could go back to when Hitler was a gurgling, smiling, innocent baby, would you stomp on his skull there and then?

| The Unseen Killer | Dnt txt + drve idt "Keep your eyes on the road" was a mantra bestowed to us during our very first driving lessons but it seems many of us have forgotten this sage advice. The use of cell phones whilst driving exemplifies how these gadgets have become endemic in modern society. New Text Service in Library AUT library hopes to create more interaction between students and staff through its new texting service, business development manager Gillian Barthorpe says.
Students can now sign up to receive text message alerts when their books are available, recalled or overdue.

| Hand Crafted Books on Display |
Fancy pants books on display at Auckland Library Auckland City Library is exhibiting its rare collection of contemporary hand crafted books over the next two months.
The books, which have been made using traditional painting, design and bookbinding skills, have mainly been written and crafted during the last three to five years, the oldest one being from 1973.
The exhibition is a tribute to 19th Century's artists but brings together traditional and contemporary elements.

Clean, Green AUT Complaints about dirty classrooms at AUT have prompted the university to employ a new cleaning company and so far they are doing a good job, campus services manager Richard Eyres says.
Rubbish in corridors is now cleared away mornings and evenings; classrooms, cafés and student lounges that needed vacuuming are looking fresh, and you can finally go to the bathroom without worrying about basins being filthy.
